In August I had the honour of creating Helen’s makeup look for her wedding in Horsham, West Sussex.  I thoroughly enjoyed being part of Helen’s special day; I have known Helen for 6 years.

Helen wanted a Disney princess inspired bridal hair and makeup look. Her makeup was very glamorous with lots of glitter (I didn’t expect anything else from Helen!!).  Her makeup look incorporated lots of brown, gold and neutral tones with a dusting of glitter which was added to her eye makeup. My all time favourite eyeshadow palette by Charlotte Tilbury in Dolce Vita was used to create this eye makeup look (this palette is a must if you like bronze and brown eyeshadows!).

I also blended in several short and medium individual cluster lashes to her outer eye to give a fluttery eyelash effect. This is a good alternative to individual cluster lashes all over if a less dramatic look is desired.

I used a MAC matte lipstick in the shade Mehr to inject some colour into the makeup look. This is a beautiful cool purple shade which complimented Helen’s skin tone.

The makeup products used for this makeup look are listed below.

  • Estee Lauder Doublewear Light -0.5
  • Laura Mercier Translucent Powder
  • Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette- Dolce Vita
  • Kiko Watrerproof Mascara
  • Collection 2000- Gold Glitter

  • Bobbi Brown Blusher – Pale Pink
  • Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow- Light

The Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride chose fairly natural makeup looks which worked well with their beautiful gold and peach dresses.
